Dentist/ Dental Therapist Vacancies

At Home Dental are currently looking for dentists and dental therapists to join their teams in both South Devon and Hampshire/Surrey/West Sussex bases.

Patient Coordinator – Portsmouth

Come and join our warm and friendly team at At Home Dental. We are a unique dental service, based in Portsmouth, Devon, using the latest mobile dental equipment to deliver high quality dentistry to people’s homes, care homes and workplaces.

We provide home dental services to patients in Devon, Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex.

Job purpose

To liaise with the Group Manager and Senior patient co-ordinator in ensuring that all aspects of administration are covered, whilst also supporting marketing activities as directed.

Patient Co-ordinator duties

  • Managing new patient enquiries
  • Ensure patient appointments are booked in optimally with careful attention to overall logistics.
  • Answer phone calls
  • Arrange and manage patient appointments
  • Manage patient recalls process
  • Respond to patient emails
  • Take payments from patients
  • Administrative tasks as requested by the Group Manager/Senior patient co-ordinator.

Administration and finance

  • Ensure that patient records are completed correctly using the software system.
  • Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts according to our policies.
  • Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required
  • Send out patient recalls
  • Compile day sheets
  • Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the service.
  • Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities

Desirable experience

Previous working in a health and care setting and/or strong customer service experience

Hours of work

Mondays to Fridays – 9am – 5.30pm Part time applicants would be considered.
