Oral Health Care Training

Equipping your team to confidently care for residents’ oral wellbeing.

Our Oral Health Care Training program aims to prepare your team to positively support residents with ongoing mouth care, be aware of concerns to look out for and confidently care for residents’ oral wellbeing in a safe and compassionate way.

Following completion of the training, you will receive Oral Health Care Training certification to display in your care home as well as personal CPD certificates to provide to your team who attended the session.

This supports your CQC compliance and is completely free of charge.

Meet your trainer

Julie Petersen

Dental Therapist and Oral Health Care Trainer

 

Previously a National Finalist for Dental Hygienist and Therapist of the year, Julie has provided Dental Health Education to Schools and Care Homes. She currently sits on the advisory panel for a large Dental corporate and enjoys working with At Home Dental, treating some of our most vulnerable patients.

How many tickets do I need?

You will need to register for one ticket per device that is used to attend. If more than one person are viewing from the same screen, please only select one ticket. If any of your team are in different locations and will log in from a separate device, please choose the number of tickets accordingly.

How long does it last?

The session will last for 1.5 hours.

Who is the trainer?

Julie Peterson is a qualified Dental Therapist and Oral Health Care Trainer and has an abundance of experience in dentistry. She enjoys working with At Home Dental, treating some of our most vulnerable patients.

How much does it cost?

The course is completely free of charge. We are providing this service at no cost as part of our initiative to improve the health and wellbeing of those within our communities.
