Justin qualified from Manchester University in 1991. Following 8 years practicing dentistry as a Royal Naval Officer, he worked for a short period in New Zealand. Justin then settled in Devon and started his own dental practice. During this time, he undertook a post graduate dental degree from Bristol University and became a post graduate trainer for newly qualified dentists in addition he developed a small chain of dental practices. He has always had a passion to develop himself and his career and he has now found the challenges of working in the mobile dental service a perfect fit to his skill set and his love for meeting people and having a varied and interesting working day. He especially enjoys taking a holistic approach to his dentistry and has a highly caring nature. He has taken part over the years in a range of extreme endurance sports, including running, cycling, swimming and rowing. He splits his time between homes in the South East and Devon. Not ready to slow down he is looking forward to cycling across America next year to add to his list of achievements.

Mark qualified from Bristol University having been born and brought up in Liverpool. He then began his career working in a busy NHS practice in central London in the late ‘80s. After a decade of working in practice he moved into the world of domiciliary dentistry over 20 years ago. He has worked both in the community services and also in the private sector. He has a deep knowledge of how mobile dentistry is delivered and enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially the provision of dentures. Over the past year he has spread his wings and he now travels extensively to all our bases providing treatment in people’s homes. A city boy at heart, he enjoys all live music, reading and watching the world go by from a local coffee shop in his spare time.

Hannah qualified from Liverpool University in 2013 as a Dental Therapist. Before qualifying, she had worked in dentistry as an assistant for 5 years. Quality service and her bubbly personality are her trademarks and she has a caring approach to everything she does. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially restoring teeth and improving oral hygiene and health in all her patients. She always has time for her patients and enjoys working in the community taking dentistry into your home. When not working for At Home Dental she is busy bringing up and caring for her young family.

Verity is one of our Dental Therapists. She qualified from University of Portsmouth in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Verity lives in Emsworth with her partner and her two dogs Henry and Derek. She really enjoys going for long country and coastal walks, hot yoga, music events and holidays. “I want to work for At Home Dental because Justin and the team are passionate and believe in the high standard of service which they provide. I have seen how Justin treats his patients – with the utmost respect. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that!”

Meryl originates from Surrey and has been involved in dentistry for nearly seven years. She was a qualified dental nurse before taking the leap to become a more hands on clinician graduating from Kings College as a Dental Therapist -this gives her a good range of skills and knowledge.
She enjoys working in the community and At Home Dental gives her the opportunity to get out of the surgery and perform her skills in a home setting. She is adaptable and has a calming manner which allows her to make people at ease. Empathetic and caring, Meryl has the ability to put patients at ease whilst performing a full range of dental services such as fillings and cleaning.
In her spare time away from work she combines being around her friends cooking for them and going to the gym.

Natalie Handley is one of At Home Dentals’ dentists and works mainly in Hampshire in one of our mobile vans. She was brought up in Sandhurst until she moved north qualifying in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2008. After qualifying she worked in several practices in the UK before moving to Australia to work in Sydney for 3 years. She loved life in Australia but realised she wanted to start a family closer to her relatives in Hampshire. She now juggles a busy life of raising 2 small boys whilst enjoying her professional career part time.
Natalie enjoys her dentistry and especially enjoys being on the road delivering the very best care to patients who struggle to get to a traditional dental practice. She really enjoys meeting new people and has the ability to put even the most nervous patients at ease.

Julie qualified as a Dental therapist and Dental hygienist from the University of Portsmouth in 2010 having had an extensive career in Dentistry, with roles including Dental Health education to schools and a Dental nurse NVQ assessor. Julie has a corporate background working for Blue Chip Company Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) as a Dental and Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager gaining a recognised qualification for the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). Within this role Julie sat on a panel of experts to design educational resources for schools.
Julie currently works parts time in a specialist referral practice undertaking the more complex treatment plans which enables her to work to very high standards. Julie was shortlisted in 2012 for Dental Therapist and Hygienist of the year.
Julie is excited to be joining the “At Home” team and will be working across Hampshire and the Hampshire/Surrey border taking her skills and caring nature to a wider community.
Outside of work Julie is a mother to her son (an extremely talented musician); a beautiful daughter (who also works in healthcare) and a very bright step daughter. In her spare time Julie enjoys astrology, spinning and chairing her local tennis club.

Bob Cervantes is one of At Home’s dentists who bring a wealth of experience to his role as one of our clinicians based in the South East. Bob obtained his dental degree in the beautiful city of Seville (Spain) in 2006 and was actually brought up in the town of Dos Hermanas, which is 10 miles south. Shortly after qualifying he decided to come to the UK to pursue his dental career. He became a British citizen in 2017 and whilst he enjoys beach life and warm weather, he still considers the UK his home and enjoys living a metropolitan life in London.
Bob is passionate about dentistry and is very experienced in all aspects of clinical practice. However, what really energises him is the satisfaction from helping people and improving their oral health. He is a natural communicator and quickly puts patients at ease with his friendly and compassionate manner. He has worked in many different areas of the UK which has allowed him to explore his adopted country, whilst developing his skills.
In his spare time he loves to spend time with his partner Miki and cat Shirley, playing music and going to gigs. He is currently planning on converting a van into a mobile home so at weekends he can get down to the beach… we’ve told him to put in heating!

Alethea is our clinical dental technician, who not only visits our clients to perform the clinical impressions and fitting of dentures but also physically makes them herself in her dental laboratory. This combination of skills ensures she produces excellent dentures which feel good and look very natural.
She was brought up in Surrey and has remained in the area ever since. She enjoys family life and has 2 children who keep her busy.
Alethea enjoys her role with At Home Dental and particularly likes providing the very best care and attention to her patients.

Gemma graduated from Cardiff University in 2015. She was awarded a cadetship for her final year and joined the British Army straight from university. Since leaving the service in 2019, she has gained a wide range of experience in NHS and private settings, as well as volunteering in Nepal.
Gemma is looking forward to being on the road with the At Home team, and to share her passion for holistic dental care with her patients. As well as her clinical work, Gemma also writes for the website Electric Teeth.
Gemma moved to Devon in 2021, having spent years moving around the UK and abroad. In her free time, she and her dog explore the local area and further afield in her campervan. They go open water swimming, walking, and enjoy visiting historic sites. She also likes travelling to warmer waters to go scuba diving.
Meritxell Escoda Manzano

Meritxell qualified in 2008 from Catalonia International University in Barcelona, Spain. After completion of her undergraduate training, she went on to train for a further 3 years, gaining both a Diploma in Implantology and a Masters in Oral Rehabilitation from the University of Barcelona. Before joining the Castle View team in 2019 she has practised dentistry in Spain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the other parts of the UK.
Meritxell treats all aspects of general dentistry. Her belief is that prevention is the key to good oral health. She particularly enjoys helping anxious patients and has subsequently completed a course in Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management at the University of Bristol.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys travelling abroad to meet different cultures.

Sonam graduated from Mumbai (India)University, and completed her dental foundation training in Croydon, South London. She completed her licenate in dental surgery, Royal College of Surgeons in 2016.
Sonam has a passion for providing the highest quality in patient-centred dentistry, and she understands how important each decision is to every patient. She will spend her time listening to your concerns, so that she can provide a tailor-made treatment plan specific to you. Her interests lie in minimally invasive and cosmetic dentistry, and her ethos translates through to her patients by her warm and welcoming nature, and the quality of her clinical work.
Outside of dentistry, Sonam enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and dancing!

Vishal qualified from Barts and the London school of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. He has since worked in the various settings including NHS and private practice aswell as community settings. He regularly attends various dental courses to ensure he provides the best quality of care for all his patients.
Outside of work he likes to spend time with his wife and two young children who keep him very busy.

Anna has qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from the University of Portsmouth in 2021. She has over 11 years of chair side assistance experience in all aspects of dentistry ranging from general dentistry to specialist work, with patient care and dental anxiety being her forte. Anna has a special interest in domiciliary care helping patients who can’t attend a dental practice in the comfort of their home. At Home Dental has provided Anna the opportunity to do just that.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys cooking, diamond painting and roller skating. Keeping fit is an important part of Anna’s life as she used to compete in weight lifting competitions where over time she has accumulated a vast amount of nutritional knowledge along with many exercise tips. Recently, Anna has taken up Ashtanga yoga and is now keen to explore its holistic benefits. Anna is originally from Latvia and is fluent in English and Russian languages.

Linda graduated as a Dental Therapist from Kings College London in 2021. Prior to qualifying, she was a Dental Nurse for 6 years, giving her a wide range of skills and knowledge. She is passionate about giving her patients positive and motivational advice in order to help them achieve and maintain and high level of oral hygiene. She uses a kind and gentle approach to build trusting relationships with her patients.
In her spare time, Linda enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, playing piano and spending time with family and friends.
Deborah qualified in 1982 and has 16 years experience as a Dental Nurse. She has also worked in customer services for a publishing house and 15 years for Laura Ashley while living in the States. Deborah is really happy to have returned to working as a dental nurse, and particularly enjoys being with At Home Dental. Every day is a new day, a new location and such a variety of people.
Outside of work, Deborah enjoys cooking, reading, and travelling. She also runs a bit and is a big fan of parkrun. Deborah also has a side line where she tend graves for people.
Kirsty joined At Home Dental in the summer of 2021 and brings 17 years worth of nursing experience to the team. Having worked previously with intravenous sedation, dental implants and restorative dentistry, she is very much enjoying being out of the road and getting to visit patients in their own home.
When Kirsty is not being kept busy by her two young children, she is practicing yoga
Lois has been dental nursing for 4 years, and has experience in working in both private and NHS general dentistry. Her favourite part of dentistry is prosthetics, such as crowns and bridges.
In my spare time Lois enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and travelling to new places.
Michelle has had the privilege of working in many different areas within the dental health profession with a career spanning almost 15 years. She has worked in both private and NHS general practices and has also worked in hospitals as an Oral Surgery and Orthodontic nurse. This was followed by several years as a Community and Special Needs dental nurse. After some time out to raise her children, she returned to dental nursing in 2016. She particularly likes taking care of her patients and will go the extra mile to ensure their comfort.
When she isn’t nursing, she is frequently at the stables with her daughter. She enjoys reading, running and country walks.
Having moved around the UK with her children and Husband for 7 years whilst he served in the Army, they have now settled in their hometown of Gosport. After working in early years and education, Marney was ready for a complete career change and has always been interested in this area of work. When the opportunity arose to train as a dental nurse alongside working for At Home Dental it was not to be missed! It is proving to be a great fit for her and being out in the community is very rewarding.
Polly joined our team in early 2022 after moving down to the area from the Midlands. She brings over 10 years dental nursing experience to At Home Dental.
In her spare time, Polly enjoys keeping fit, hiking and reading.
