Big Brush Club Spans Three Counties

It has been a bumper month for Big Brush Club, with Devon having exceeded its target of schools signed up.

The Supervised Toothbrushing programme is now being offered in regions across the Southwest including Devon (83% of schools signed up), Dorset (59%) and Somerset (62%), with Bath, Swindon, Wiltshire, and Gloucester set to follow in the upcoming weeks. Children in schools across the Southwest are starting their supervised toothbrushing journey and we have had great feedback from school staff about how well this is going in their setting.

Our Project Facilitators have been busy delivering supplies to schools across the county as well as going into establishments to train staff and providing Oral Health teaching sessions for the children.

Our website has gone live and is looking fantastic. Please do take a look at the Big Brush Club website to learn all about what we are doing.

We’ve launched our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Follow us to keep up to date with what’s happening! It’s inspiring to see the team on the road and hear the positive comments which schools are publishing about the scheme itself and our fabulous team.

Thank you to all the team who have been involved in this success. We know that the facilitators have had to hit the ground running in their new roles, and they’ve all embraced this with enthusiasm and determination.
