NHS Tender Awarded for Supervised Toothbrushing Scheme

We’re very excited to have won a large NHS tender to carry out a Supervised Toothbrushing scheme in schools across the Southwest.

Focusing on schools in deprived areas, the scheme involves 3-5 year old children brushing their teeth while supervised by their teacher (or teaching assistant) after lunch each day. The goal of the scheme is to install a good oral hygiene routine in children and to teach those who have not had help with this at home the importance of and how to brush their teeth well on a daily basis.

This is a huge project and we are recruiting Project Facilitators across the Southwest to help deliver it. We’ve also hired a fabulous Project Manager, Clare Foster, who is overseeing the scheme from both her base in Cornwall and the Head Office in Totnes.

Our Marketing Department have been busy working with freelancers on producing the logo, website and even some fun characters to be the face of the campaign.

This scheme has the potential to impact upon 72,000 children – that’s a lot of toothbrushes and toothpaste!

Watch this space for updates as the scheme develops.
